Great product, but have a good vacuum ready.
I had to replace a knock sensor and figured I would replace the gaskets while I was at it. For what they do and how hard they are to get to, getting a good quality product just makes sense. Thus I choose this set.However, most other gaskets snap on the bottom of the intake manifold. These do not. They must be placed on the engine head. While the ring around the head was nice and clean, the bolts were covered in dirt and this product requires those bolts to be clean to put the gasket on. Since the cylinders are open at this point, taking a wire brush and risking dirt getting into the pistons is a real danger. The only way is to have a good vacuum and an assistant to make sure the dirt can come off safely to install these gaskets. Top to learn more
Perfect Fit
Perfect fit on my 1999NBS Sierra engine.Yes this kit requires a little more cleaning than the style that attaches to the intake manifold becuase this clips over the head bolts.No leaks at all, and includes new gaskets and seals for the EGR valve as well. Top to learn more
